Here, I want to tell you about an awesome beach in Gunungkidul with wonderful view that can
make every people who had come there will be very satisfy then want to stay
there for long time. That’s it Pok Tunggal Beach. Pok Tunggal beach is located
in Tepus (sub-district), Gunungkidul regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta,
Indonesia. Pok Tunggal beach is about 63 km from Adisutjipto International
Airport, Yogyakarta. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes
by car. It’s a long trip,
but the view along the way is also beautiful. Pok Tunggal beach has a wonderful
view. |

it costs Rp 10.000,- (less than US $1) per person (it’s 2014). It’s very cheap,
isn’t?
In Pok Tunggal beach, you can swim while see the coral reefs
and fishes who live there, but don’t swim too
far away from the beach because sometimes the waves can be high and it
will be not good. Be careful. Moreover,
you can just relax yourself by sunbathe (if the weather is sunny) on the sand
and listen to the sea waves which crush each other. Pok Tunggal beach has white
sand. On the east side, you’ll find a cliff. You can climb there if you want to
see Pok Tunggal Beach from top of the hill. Here I’ll give you the photo that I took when
I was there.

From top of the hill, you can see the view of Pok Tunggal
beach and Indian Ocean which is very wide. You’ll like to stand and watch that
view. But, there’s a problem for everyone who wants to get to Pok TUnggal Beach. About 1.5
kilometers before we reach at Pok tunggal beach, we will find a difficult way
because the materials of the way are just arrangement of stones. But it’s no
problem, because you’ll get the view of wonderful beach. That is Pok Tunggal
