This Seropan Cave is a cave which has a history of an ancient civilisation in Gunungkidul when it was in ancient times. There are fossils that comes from ancient creatures. The ancient human lived there because there's plenty of water which could meet their needs. Seropan cave has beautiful stalactites and stalagmites which indicates that this cave has enough water at that time.

The conditions of this Seropan cave is still beautiful, but you must be careful because the rocks is slippery in some places. The Gunungkidul Government has already announce it officially as a tourist spot and open to public. When the holiday, this place will visited by the caver from many places. This Seropan cave is about 46 kilometers away from Adisutjipto International Airport, Yogyakarta.
